Honest disclosure: every quote is copied word for word from a public-domain book on Project Gutenberg (Mark Twain, 1894 and 1897; La Rochefoucauld, 1871 English translation), and the answer key names the source of each one. The puzzles, layout and cover were made with computer code written with AI help. Our computer solver found exactly one solution for each puzzle, using a 25,000-word English dictionary (plus the puzzle's own words) and the hints given.
FAQ
How big is the print?
Code letters are 24 point with a 0.35-inch write-in box above each one, one puzzle per full page. All other text, including the answer key and page numbers, is 16 point or larger. Open the free sample to check that it suits you before buying.
Can I print it more than once?
Yes, as many copies as you like for your own personal or household use. Please don't resell or share the file.
Do I need special software?
No. Any PDF reader works, including the one built into your phone, tablet or browser.
Is there a paperback?
